It seems like Kratos has killed every mythological Greek being in existence but there’s still plenty of targets for him to slay. Sony Santa Monica sent out a new trailer for God of War: Ascension that introduces the Furies. The Furies are three sisters charged with enforcing Kratos’ bond to Ares. After Kratos decides to forsake his service and do his own thing, the sisters go on a warpath. It seems quite likely that he’ll have to kill all three Furies during this quest. These sisters look like formidable foes. They’re female soldiers with long, spider-like limbs. In addition to providing the sisters with enhanced mobility, these four extra limbs are razor-sharp and can be used to dice up foes with ease. In case you’re wondering: yes, these characters aren’t completely made-up by the development team. Furies were female deities of vengeance according to Greeks. I’m going to guess that the spider-limbs are artistic license, though.
