Bigfoot: Hidden Giant review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Bigfoot: Hidden Giant from G5 Entertainment for the iPad. A premise that fascinates our inner cryptozoologists, Bigfoot: Hidden Giant is the latest hidden object adventure game from G5 Entertainment. The game tells the story of Linda, a Bigfoot researcher who sets off to find the great beast. Of course, Linda finds more than she bargained for. This is a pretty standard hidden object game. You search the screen for items, and there are also puzzles. Evidently the Bigfoot is easily enticed by a fruit smoothie. This video review features video gameplay footage of Bigfoot: Hidden Giant for the iPad and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek. VG Pocket Caplet review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow hardware review of the VG Pocket Caplet from Pelican Accessories. The VG Pocket Caplet is a portable gaming device. We hesitate to call it a console because, well, it doesn’t take cartridges. Some lines can’t be crossed. Nonetheless, the VG Pocket Caplet is a later model of the VG Pocket with an improved screen and the addition of three licensed games from Taito. Space Invaders, Bust-a-Move and Burger Time, which is Derek’s eternal nemesis. This video review features video gameplay footage of the VG Pocket Caplet and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek. XaviX Bowling review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of XaviX Bowling from SSD Company Limited for the XaviX Port. XaviX Bowling is a motion controlled bowling game for the XaviX Port video game console. Yes, these are all real things. Xavix Bowling is exactly like the bowling game from Wii Sports, only with pixels and a huge plastic bowling ball. Of all the XaviX games we’ve tortured Derek with, this one was CLEARLY the worst. In fact, it’s one of the worst motion control games we’ve ever played. Just mark it zero. This video review features video gameplay footage of XaviX Bowling and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek. XaviX Baseball review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of XaviX Baseball from SSD Company Limited for the XaviX Port. XaviX Baseball is a motion controlled baseball game for the XaviX Port video game console. Yes, these are all real things. Xavix Baseball is exactly like the baseball game from Wii Sports, only with pixels, a huge plastic baseball bat, a little plastic baseball and horrible motion recognition. Two said plastic peripherals are actually the controllers for the game. It’s pretty stupid, but at least the baseball works. The bat? Not so much. This video review features video gameplay footage of XaviX Baseball and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek. XaviX Port hardware review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of the XaviX Port video game console from SSD Company Limited. Although it looks like a cheap knockoff of the Nintendo Wii, the XaviX Port was actually released in 2004. That’s two years before the Wii, which means the makers of the XaviX Port either had the idea first or they had a Flux Capacitor. The XaviX Port is a motion controlled console with pixelated graphics and lots of stupid plastic peripherals. It’s the Wii, had the Wii actually been the Super Nintendo. This video review features video footage of the XaviX Port video game console and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek. Rob Cram informs of the time it takes to run across the map from The Frontier Caverns to the Bluemoon Tower. Perhaps the 2 hour claims are if walking across the map?
